The steel fabric is made from a zinc or zinc-aluminium alloy, or metallic and polymer coated (PVC). The hexagonal mesh gabion is manufactured in a standard range of wire mesh. The wire mesh is typically supplied in rolls of either 2 or 3 m width x 25 m length.
